Conveniently located downtown right at College and Dovercourt, downtown Toronto.  This photography studio is run by its main photographer and creative director, Daisy Hsieh; she specialize in Realtor headshot, Lawyer headshot, corporate portrait, life style portrait and food photography.

Fully equipped with hi-grade professional lighting  and access to natural light, clients have the option of plain backdrops, ranging from plain to textured, and even include natural brick walls.

The studio offers clients Photography, Make-up, Hair Styling, Wardrobe Styling and Consultation. Photoshoot sessions can be held within the studio or on-location of your choice.

Biography

Born on January 29, 1977 in a city south of Taiwan, Daisy Hsieh has  lived independently away from home for school  since the tender age of 16. After having graduated from college in Taiwan, she moved to Brandon, Manitoba Canada

After having overcome several obstacles and life changes, including the birth of a beautiful child, Mario, she bravely decided to move to a bigger city, Toronto, to raise her son and to take on greater opportunities and challenges. As an Aquarius, Daisy was always naturally drawn to Art and Design. Hence, after some careful consideration and research, she decided to follow her passion and applied for the renowned Graphic Design Program at the International Academy of Design and Technology (IADT) back in 2005.

Once accepted into the program, to her surprise, she was instantaneously awarded a scholarship from a photoshop design image. In the class, she was one of  the top 3 students. She admits it was effortless because she loved what she doing, and was ever grateful she took on this path.

Thoroughly inspired and motivated, she branched into Modeling to earn extra income. This experience empowered her and greatly contributed to her self-esteem. Soon after graduating from IADT, she worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer for awhile. While she enjoyed her work, she realized she did not have the patience to withstand long hours staring in front of a computer. Something was missing, she decided to pick up the camera and slowly and surely shift behind the lens

Her graphic design background and previous modeling experience greatly helped her develop into a Professional Photographer within a short period of time. She was determined and was already equipped with the necessary knowledge. She remembers the very first time she got to practice with a team of professionals, and felt blessed to work with an incredible team, the unexpected good results, this served a good head start to her photography career and encouraged her more so to follow her dream. Soon after, she was photographing tirelessly and endlessly, quickly expanding her photography subjects, ranging from Fashion, Beauty, Actor Headshots to Business headshots/ portrait.

To Daisy, her best rewards are instances when her business clients, actors, or just ordinary people who call themselves rather “non-photogenic” end up being astounded after seeing themselves transform into the “photogenic” individuals they never thought they could be in Daisy’s work. She consistently aspires to make her clients look as great as they can be and create images that exceed their expectations. The feeling of having achieved this is greater than no other, she says.
